WE BELIEVE
ART HAS
THE POWER
TO CHANGE
PEOPLE’S LIVES.

BOLD is a private art space and salon founded by independent curator and art scientist Tina Guthknecht.
BOLD aims to build bridges between the material and the immaterial, the form and the formless and helps to connect the aesthetic spheres of art with the transcendental.
BOLD is an interactive, immersive venue, in which exhibitions, readings and installations are ways to open a dialogue with god, the universe, consciousness – a greater, everlasting reality that is immanent in all and set in the soul of men.
BOLD is a gallery, a laboratory, a performance space or a site for interdisciplinary projects and collaborations.
BOLD is a place of encounter, reflection and simply being with the art by directing the attention from the external to the internal.
BOLD is a new way of seeing and allowing a more intimate and infinite side of ourselves and the art (world).
And new: BOLD travels!

"THE WOLRD NEEDS IDEAS, CREATORS AND VISIONARIES WHO ARE BOLD ENOUGH TO STEP OUT OF THE FRAME AND, AT THE SAME TIME, BE IN THE WOLRD."
– Tina Guthknecht

DETEL AURAND
We are here

15 December 2017 - 28 January 2018

Beginning and end, inhale and exhale, black and white, young and old – and everything in between. These ties, often imperceptible to the human eye, are explored by Detel Aurand (b. 1958) in here work. Comprised by three larger scale, filigree objects and various series of drawings, collages and paintings, the exhibition borrows its title from her just recently published artist book.
